After the races at WIR in the pits. Picture above on left (6/29/00) Mike is handing out juice donated by Bink's Coca Cola of Escanaba and also Race Against Drugs coloring books to the kids. Picture on the right (7/13/00) Mike put a little girl into the driver's seat of his race car.

7/13/00 -- Picture on left (top photo) was taken during the heat race when Mike was holding off the #17 car for the win. Picture left (bottom photo) was in the winner's circle with some of his crew joining him! This was the first Late Model Heat win on a Thursday night at WIR.

8/3/00 - Main feature event in corners one and two - Mike thought it was a good time to showcase the Engineered Machined Products (EMP) primary sponsor on the hood for the photographer - the picture was also printed in the Midwest Racing News. [Photo by Chuck Look]

8/19/00 -- The car parked on the front stretch of the 1/4 mile track at WIR. This was the pit area for the twin 50 lap races.

 8/24/00 - In the pits after the races at
WIR. Unfortunately in racing, accidents do happen and we happen to be in the wrong
place at the wrong time this night. We sustained major damage in this accident
where the front of the car needed to be restubbed, many bolt on components needed to be
replaced and the rear end had heavy damage as well.More pictures of the accident and how the crew worked together, spent long nights on the car and had this car back out for the following weeks races will be posted shortly - check back - THAT'S DEDICATION. Accident happend on Thursday 8/24/00 and had to race again 8/31/00.
