In the feature race, only 9 laps into the race another car came into contact
with us and we sustained some body damage. We continued to run, but by
lap 15 Mike could not see the track anymore. The hood was coming off
and Mike had to pull into the pits and settle for 21st place. |

This was the first race that we did not make the A Feature in many years.
In the B Feature, because we had not raced this track this year yet, we had
to start in the back. Mike managed to work himself up to a 6th place
finish. Because of the number of late model cars there were three
feature events scheduled. |
